There is almost no worse feeling for a book lover than when you fall in love with a series and the next one isn’t available yet to immediately pick up and read, which is exactly where I am with this second book in the Archangel One series. This military science fiction novel kept me on the edge of the seat the entire journey through and I am left wanting more.

Space Opera/Military Science Fiction: I love both of these sci fi subgenres, but I actually discovered this series by accident. Somehow I found the follow-on series first, fell in love with it and decided to start from the beginning – the Odyssey One series. Plus, Kindle Unlimited offers both the book and audio book, which made it even better for me since I love listening to audio books.

Sometimes you find a book when you just need it most. I tend to really enjoy military science fiction stories, but oddly enough I don’t read them very often. Not sure why that is. I happened to run across this one when randomly searching on my Kindle for something new to read within science fiction. Kindle Unlimited offered this one in both written and audio format. I chose the audio version and it was a blast!
